Theatre on Fire opens its third season at the Charlestown Working Theater with Ben Elton’s madcap GASPING. GASPING spins an uproarious tale of what happens when corporations get control of our most precious resource – the air we breathe.

Ben Elton is an Olivier Award-winning playwright, best-selling author, stand-up comedian, actor and Emmy award-winning television writer. He co-wrote the “Black Adder” television series, among others, and has written 10 novels and 3 plays, often working with acclaimed actors such as Rowan Atkinson, Hugh Laurie, Stephen Fry and Emma Thompson. GASPING was Elton’s debut play.
