Othello

CWT's educational/community partners the Actors' Shakespeare Project

A three-week dynamic youth intensive designed to explore the powerful, rich language and stories of Shakespeare through focused classes on text, voice and movement and culminating in a 75-minute performance of Othello.

ASP resident company member Jason Bowen (who recently captivated Boston theatergoers with his Othello) works to create a meaningful and compelling experience for youth. Specialty workshops in movement and stage combat will take place. Designed for high school students hungry to dig deep into Shakespeare's text and characters.

Participating youth are from Charlestown (including CWT's Katie McGoff) Roxbury, Dorchester, Newton, and Wakefield.

Free public performances of the culminating presentation of Othello.
